Pervious Concrete Product Introduction
Construction Casespermeable concrete
Permeable concrete is a water-permeable and breathable porous structural concrete composed of a series of connected pores and a solid part of the concrete skeleton. From the perspective of main materials, unlike ordinary concrete, permeable concrete only contains a small amount of fine aggregate or does not contain fine aggregate; from the perspective of various bonding, it mainly depends on the hardening of the cementing material slurry wrapped on the surface of the coarse aggregate. Glue the aggregate particles together.
Permeable concrete is also called porous concrete and sand-free concrete. Permeable concrete is a porous lightweight concrete made of aggregate, cement and water. It does not contain fine aggregates. The surface of the coarse aggregates is coated with a thin layer of cement slurry and bonded to each other to form evenly distributed pores. With a honeycomb structure, permeable concrete has the characteristics of air permeability, water permeability and light weight.
Outstanding features of permeable concrete
High water permeability: The permeable floor has 15%-25% pores, which can make the water permeability rate reach 31-52 liters/meter/hour, which is much higher than the discharge rate of effective rainfall under excellent drainage configuration.
High bearing capacity: According to the appraisal by the national testing agency, the bearing capacity of the permeable floor can fully meet the bearing standards of C20-C25 concrete, which is higher than the bearing capacity of ordinary permeable bricks.
Decorative effect: The permeable floor has an optimized color ratio scheme, which can cooperate with the designer's unique creativity to achieve the decorative styles required by different environments and personalities. This is difficult to achieve with ordinary permeable bricks.
Easy maintenance: There is no need to worry about pore clogging. The unique permeable paving system can be easily solved by high-pressure water washing.
Freeze-thaw resistance: Permeable pavement has stronger freeze-thaw resistance than ordinary concrete pavement, and will not be affected by freezing and thawing because its structure itself has larger pores.
Durability: The durability and wear resistance of permeable flooring is better than that of asphalt and is close to that of ordinary floors. It avoids the short service life and uneconomical shortcomings of ordinary permeable bricks.
High heat dissipation: The low density of the material itself (15-25% voids) reduces the heat storage capacity. The unique pore structure allows lower underground temperatures to be transmitted to the ground, thereby reducing the temperature of the entire paved floor. These characteristics make The permeable pavement system is close to the ground covered by natural vegetation in terms of heat absorption and heat storage functions. Permeable concrete is suitable for the construction of permeable roads, permeable pavements, permeable pavements, and permeable floors.
The main function of permeable concrete
1. Make roads, squares, etc. permeable and expand the sponge body of the city;
2. Anti-skid, no water accumulation, and easy to melt snow, which increases the safety of vehicle driving;
3. Various colors to beautify the environment;
4. Reduce the urban heat island effect and have cooling and noise reduction effects on the environment;
5. One of the main implementation methods for building sponge cities.
Application scope of permeable concrete
Used for light-load traffic pavements, landscape pavements, tree ponds, river slope protection, parking lots, sidewalks, squares, etc.
